Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 June 2026

Replr turns a screenshot of a chat into suggested replies. This policy explains exactly what data is involved and where it goes. In short: your screenshot is used only to generate replies and is not stored, and the memory feature lives only on your device.

What happens when you capture a chat

When you trigger a capture, the screenshot of your conversation is sent from your device to Replr's server, which forwards it to a third-party AI provider — Google (Gemini), OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic (Claude), or xAI (Grok) — to generate the reply suggestions. Replr does not store the screenshot after the replies are returned. Each provider processes it under its own privacy and data-use policy.

What stays on your device

After each capture, a one-line summary of the conversation is saved on your device (in the app's private storage) for the memory feature. This summary is never sent to any server. It is only used as context for future replies with the same contact. You can view and delete every summary Replr holds in the app's Memory section, or turn memory off entirely.

What Replr stores on its server

If you sign in, Replr keeps your account and your credit balance. Replr also records anonymous usage events (for example, that a reply was generated) to understand how the app is used. These events never include your messages, contact names, or screenshots.

Your photo library

Replr's primary capture method (Back Tap → Shortcut) never accesses your photo library — the screenshot is passed directly to Replr in memory and is never saved to Photos. If you grant Photos access for the in-keyboard capture flow, Replr reads only your most recent screenshot, never scans or browses your other photos, and keeps nothing else.

Full Access

The Replr keyboard requires Full Access so it can reach the internet to fetch your replies and communicate with the companion app through a private shared area on your device. It does not grant access to anything you type in other apps.

Deleting your data

You're in control:

  • Memory summaries — delete any or all of them in the app's Memory section.
  • Your account and remaining credits — Settings → Account → Delete account permanently removes them.
  • Anything else — email [email protected] and we'll help.
